In May, 2021, Kim and I went to the Tulip Festival
at Thanksgiving Point with Mom and Dad.
We were able to use a golf cart since neither mom or dad would be able to walk the distance required to see the vast tulip gardens. And as you can see, we went in the midst of mask wearing due to the Covid pandemic.
The tulips were beautiful, and we stopped to get some pictures of mom and dad in the large wooden shoes that were found throughout the gardens along the path.
On one of our stops along the way, I was taking a picture of mom and dad and a passerby hollered at mom and dad to kiss. So they obliged!
It was a beautiful day to spend with Kim and mom and dad. Definitely a day to remember. And as it turned out, it was the last year that dad would go to the Tulip Festival with us.
